What about the new law about seat belts.
7 year olds would never sit in a booster seat. There at school and like to think of themselves as big kids. I know that when I started school I no longer wanted to have to sit in a booster seat. This was OK. My parents felt it was safe for me and all my brothers as long as we kept our seat belts on.

Some parents may choose to let their kids sit in the booster seat till their 7 years old, but on the other hand others might choose to trust their child to sit on the seat with their seat belts on. Again it should be up to the parent since it is their child they should have a say in this.....

Why are the government getting new laws in place for teen drinking.
There should be no new laws for parents getting a $6,000 fine if there kid is caught drinking when they are not around. It is not always the parents or kids fault. Sometimes they get pressured into doing it by older peers.

Parents have their own rigthts and own ways how to look after their kids. Whould you rather other people that you don't know or trutst to buy their kids alcohol? Parents would rather buy it for them so they know how much they will be drinking and know that they won't be getting into trouble.
